ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT OFFICERS

Job Responsibilities:
  • Implement Environment Management System and comply with the legal requirement.
  • Prepare monthly environmental report as required by the Management / DOE.
  • Liaise with consultants and relevant government authority.
  • Supervise the work of erosion and sediment control on site as specified in the ESCP and EMP.
  • Coordinates implementation of the environmental management programmes.
  • Coordinates the Waste Management Programme.
  • Directs environmental awareness material distribution.
  • Coordinates environmental incident investigations and report findings to the Construction Manager and HSE Officer.
  • Assesses Contractor’s environmental protection compliance and report findings to the Construction Manager and Project Manager.
  • Give necessary proper advice to company relating Environment matter.
  • Rectify and solve any environmental issues.
Requirements:
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Environmental/Health/Safety) or equivalent.
  • At least a year of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Experience in Ports and Marine infrastructure projects is highly desirable.
  • Preferably candidate specializing in Engineering Environmental/Health/Safety or equivalent.
